  Claudia Coutu Radmore's Biography

Apart from a strong publishing history in Japanese form poetry, Claudia Coutu Radmore's lyric poems have been accepted in paperplates.org, CV2, The Antigonish Review, Arc, Grain, Prairie Fireand Matrix among others, as well as in the anthologies Pith & Wry (2010, Susan McMaster, Editor) and Rogue Stimulus: The Stephen Harper Holiday Anthology for a Prorogued Parliament, (2010, Stuart Ross, Editor).

Her poem "how language forms" was chosen by Christian Bõk as second prize in Prairie Fire's 2010 Banff Centre Bliss Carman Poetry Award.

Claudia's latest book of lyric poetry, a minute or two/ without remembering, (2010, Two Cultures Press, Sudbury), was listed as a Special Mention among the 2010 Pat Lowther Award submissions. A bilingual tanka series, Your Hands Discover Me /tes mains me découvrent was published in 2010 by Èditions du tanka francophone, Montréal.

Accidentals, published in the spring of 2011 by Apt. 9 Press, Ottawa, has just won the bpNichols Chapbook Award.

Claudia has a BFA from Queen's University, which gives her an insider's look at a body of artwork. She has been running her own press, Bondi Studios, since 1994, and is the managing editor of Tree Press at the Tree Reading Series. See treereadingseries.ca.
